Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

Well what started as a grand ambition has gotten little attention so far. Work has been a little nutty and my system decided to give up the ghost so I now have a new XPC (Shuttle) system and am loving it! Nice small foot print and lots of power.

Today it snowed and traffic was just a joy getting into work. I seriously think that every person living in the US who receives less than 6" of snow a year should be forced to spend a couple of days driving in the Great White North to be able to keep their driver's license!

So I am also in the process of getting ready to head to Florida in January. I will be there for a month and hope I don't miss "the big one" (snow fall that is) Delaware seems to be a mixed bag when it comes to that fluffy white stuff (yes snow!)

Well I really need to get back to work here and I think I will have to post some of my written work here. Maybe this will be a good place to keep track of it. Also I found this really cool site that I hope to be able to order some items from in time for Christmas for my sisters and mother and heck maybe even myself. I will post a link to the site here soon.

where does it go, where does it begin.

Well this is my first attempt at a blog and About.com suggests the following qualities for the successful blogger:

Passion for Your Topic (well I have passion for most things)
Creativity (I am an artist so got that covered)
A Good Idea (Not too worried about that at this moment)
A Good Work Ethic (Always have had one)
The Ability to Work Alone (No problem)

A Thick Skin (More and more everyday)
A Thriving Social Network (That's part of the reason I am here)
Motivation (Learning about a new...to me... media)
Longevity (I don't give up easily)
Long Term Vision (Working on that one)

An Open Mind (Open the lid and pour it in)

So armed with that and considering I am doing this as a project to learn the ins and outs of blogging I guess all thats left is to figure out where does it go and where does it begin.
